 Last review

Last time, I mentioned that youkai have four categories. The four categories are:

1,Youkai for convincing
2, Education / Lessons Youkai
3, the discovered youkai
4, entertainment youkai

This time, we will introduce "Education / Lessons Youkai".

Discipline

When I was a kid, I was often threatened by my parents with doing bad things, such as being "eaten by a demon" or "taken by a tengu."
Why do adults discipline children with youkai?
The answer is simple.
When a small child does something wrong, explaining why it is bad does not make the small child understand what is wrong with it.Therefore, I was disciplining my child not to do bad things by saying something scary would come.
That scary thing is a youkai.

Lesson

It is true not only for children but also for adults that the arrival of youkai will change their lives.
For example, if you don't clean it, dust will collect and you will get sick.This is common sense in modern times, but at that time we do not know the causal relationship between filth and illness.
That is where "※１Aka name" and "※２Tenjou name" were born.

They have the role of "convincing" that the phenomenon of getting sick without cleaning, although the cause is unknown, is caused by youkai, and giving many people "lessons".
"Education / Lessons Youkai" are youkai with new attributes to alert more people to the previous "Youkai for convincing".

[Dr. Yokai] Inoue Enryo's Scientific Theory of Yokai [Yokai Encyclopedia]

  What is Inoue Enryo? Enryo Inoue was a Buddhist philosopher and educator. He was a teacher who focused on philosophy to gain diverse perspectives and built a school called Tetugakukan (means Philosophy Hall), which is now Toyo University . He studied youkai (ghosts) in an attempt to break through the monstrosities and youkai and gave lectures on them , and was also known as "Dr. Haunted" or "Dr. Youkai" . He also developed a board game called "Tetugakutobisyougo" (meaning "Philosophy Flying Shogi") , a compromise of the rules of both Go and Shogi because it takes a long time to settle the game.  Inoue Enryo (March 18, 1858 - June 6, 1919) strangely classified Inoue Enryo divided youkai into two main categories.  Anime that is popular in Japan now Nowadays, the anime " Jujutsu Kaisen " is popular in Japan. This anime is a story about an ordinary high school boy eating a youkai relic and gaining powerful power. The youkai relic is a youkai's finger called " Ryomen Sukuna " . Ryomensukuna is a youkai with faces on both the front and back of the head, and has a total of eight limbs . This Ryomensukuna is a youkai that actually appears not only in anime but also in Japanese folk tales. Of course, eating the youkai's relics doesn't give you any power.
