Last review

Last time, I mentioned that youkai have four categories. The four categories are:

1,Youkai for convincing
2, Education / Lessons Youkai
3, the discovered youkai
4, entertainment youkai

This time, we will introduce "the discovered youkai".

What is the discovered youkai?

As the name suggests, the discovered youkai are those that have actually been witnessed.
While the other three categories of youkai are made by humans, this "discovered youkai" can be captured and transformed from a youkai to an animal if its ecology is known. ..
Outside of Japan, "Cryptid" is also called "UMA", an unidentified creature in Japan.

If you catch it, you will get a prize!

There are many actual sightings, and "Tschinoko" is famous as a youkai who can get a prize if they capture it.
Tsuchinoko is a snake that became a boom in the 1970s.
The torso is as thick as a beer bottle, and the neck and tail are much thinner than the torso.

In Itoigawa City, Niigata Prefecture, the "Tsuchinoko ※Tankentai" was launched in 2006 to capture Tsuchinoko, and the information found was "Tsuchinoko Manju", and if captured, the prize was "100 million yen"!
The prize money of "100,000 to 1 million yen" is a dream story even with photos alone.
It may be near the day when Tsuchinoko becomes just a snake from a youkai 🤣🤣🤣

[Dr. Yokai] Inoue Enryo's Scientific Theory of Yokai [Yokai Encyclopedia]

  What is Inoue Enryo? Enryo Inoue was a Buddhist philosopher and educator. He was a teacher who focused on philosophy to gain diverse perspectives and built a school called Tetugakukan (means Philosophy Hall), which is now Toyo University . He studied youkai (ghosts) in an attempt to break through the monstrosities and youkai and gave lectures on them , and was also known as "Dr. Haunted" or "Dr. Youkai" . He also developed a board game called "Tetugakutobisyougo" (meaning "Philosophy Flying Shogi") , a compromise of the rules of both Go and Shogi because it takes a long time to settle the game.  Inoue Enryo (March 18, 1858 - June 6, 1919) strangely classified Inoue Enryo divided youkai into two main categories. [Remains in Japan] Youkai Relics～Kappa～ [Yokai Encyclopedia]

 Anime that is popular in Japan now Nowadays, the anime " Jujutsu Kaisen " is popular in Japan. This anime is a story about an ordinary high school boy eating a youkai relic and gaining powerful power. The youkai relic is a youkai's finger called " Ryomen Sukuna " . Ryomensukuna is a youkai with faces on both the front and back of the head, and has a total of eight limbs . This Ryomensukuna is a youkai that actually appears not only in anime but also in Japanese folk tales. Of course, eating the youkai's relics doesn't give you any power. However, youkai relics remain in various parts of Japan . This time, as part of that, we will introduce the relics of Kappa. Kappa Zuiryuji Temple Zuiryuji is a temple in Osaka.
